The range of air freight service outlined below is provided in a choice of time-specific options including: • First class – the quickest air freight service available for urgent and time-sensitive shipments • Business class – a premium consolidated air freight services, based on confirmed space with the most direct flight schedule • Economy class – a lower priced consolidated air service, based on confirmed space for more cost conscious movements • Sea/Air – a combination of air and sea transportation for instances when all air is too expensive and the all sea lead time is too long.

VWF Specialized and Domestic Freight
This division has a focus on domestic freight forwarding across various geographies. The Domestic Forwarding division comprises: • VWF's Managed Transport Services is an integrated solution that delivers end-to-end management and co-ordination of logistics and transport requirements. • VWF SPD's core business is multimodal road, rail and sea transportation of full container loads between all capital cities and larger regional locations across Nigeria. VWF Refrigerated is the national provider of cold chain transport and logistics services to selected markets. • VWF Transport is Bass Strait freight forwarders providing distribution services between mainlands. • VWF’s future initiative shipping will operates the most comprehensive shipping services between West Africa and sub-regions and worldwide mainland in collaboration with our network agent.

Buyer's Consolidation/Multi-Country Consolidation (MCC) involves consolidation at one of our facilities strategically located close to your vendors. The process enables economic order and inventory quantities, whilst maintaining cost-effective shipping movements. The consolidations of multiple products from multiple vendors enable goods to be consigned to a destination port close to the point of distribution/consumption. Buyer's Consolidation/MCC is closely linked to, and facilitates, direct to port and direct to store services.
door to door service
(Direct to store/ Port to Store)
Offshore consolidation, by the vendor or VWF Global Forwarding, enables the importer to ship goods to the port of destination nearest to the end consumer. The 'low-hanging fruit' remaining in most supply chains is the opportunity to reduce the high cost of transport within the destination country or region. Direct to store involves processing store orders in the country of origin where lower labour rates are prevalent. Our process includes applying barcodes to facilitate piece scanning and automated cross docking at the destination deconsolidation point. VWF Global Forwarding uses various bar coding methods including Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) and destination carrier consignment labels. Direct to store services may require other origin value-added services including quality control, kitting, visual point-of-sale, colour-coded cartons to identify store aisle location, and Public Display Quantities (PDQs) by store.

Our global network provides in-house export and import customs clearance including border control formalities. VWF Global Forwarding offers a complete menu of customs brokerage services including: • Tariff classification and duty file maintenance • Import and export clearance • Duty drawback application • Consulting services and advice • Pre-shipment authorization and pre-clearance • Export document preparation • Electronic connection to customs. Vilen Worldwide Freight Limited diverse knowledge of customs clearance requirements avoids costly and inconvenient delays. Vilen Worldwide Freight Limited end-to-end capability means we can arrange the transshipment or local delivery of cleared merchandise through our integrated Vilen Worldwide Freight Limited network. We assist our clients in the event of a Customs audit. The quality of information contained in our database allows for cross-referencing of shipments, customs entry numbers, orders and products. This functionality will be a major time saver when carrying out a customs audit or completing duty drawbacks.
